Recorded at Golden Bear Records during the 2020 pandemic, Routh’s third album, “Heavy Love” invites the listener into a world of big, sometimes uncontrollable emotions. Bringing to light the up’s and down’s of love, this newest addition to Routh’s ever-evolving catalogue of music brings something new and raw to her listeners.
“I wanted to get into the studio, dig deep and put aside any pre-conceived ideas my audience may have expected from a third album. It was time I started a new musical journey and introduce the evolution to my sound. I found it important for me to deliver an album that audiences from every generation could connect with. During the making of “Heavy Love” I grew to digest, understand and believe in my potential as a creative and welcomed the adventure it took me on.”

Video: A Requiem For Sonny
This original piece was composed to lift up the memory of Sonny. A young soul who brightened the lives of every person he met. A smile as wide as the ocean and a laugh that brought pure joy to your heart, Sonny lost his life in a tragic accident this summer.
This beautiful video was created by the extremely talented Michael Vanderpool. A visually stunning representation of how children are wrapped up in love within their home and when they pass, that ribbon of life leaves their earth-bound life to live among the clouds. This piece is a gift to Sonny's family and community and to those who have lost their young. May it bring some peace to their pain.
